One of the bloggers that I follow from UAE has posted about her trip to Saudi for Umrah. She had some negative commits about her trip, which I'm ok with. I have some negative comments, too! But that thing I hated the most is the way she was generalizing about the Saudi people.

Her comments were about the way people drive in Saudi and her exact comment was "Sha3b malah 7al" as if we are all a bunch of idiots walking/driving around.

I replied on her post that I was offended by her generalization. Most probably she won't approve it to be published.

I hope this really works! I was chatting with my friends that I've known since 4th grade on BB, and I randomly told them about my childhood dream was and still is for us all to travel somewhere. Just us, the girls, no kids, no families, only girls. I've done this with college girls and we went to London and Rome. But now, I suggested we go to Dubai :D

Everyone was so excited, and I really hope we go there in 3 weeks! Honestly, I don't know Dubai, I've been there once, 4 years ago and it was only for a transit of 7 hours. But now it's different! We'll go shopping, watch movies, go out to the best restaurants... And maybe Ferrari Wold! Aaaaah, I so wanna go!

We're gonna stay at the Address Downtown, since it's only gonna be a long weekend vacation :( I thought of Armani Hotel, but I didn't like the dark colors of the interior and all. I need you all to recommend the best places we can go and have fun there! :D

A month ago, I was at work, and I was very busy. The guy at the reception came to my desk with this....

I was soooooo HAPPY! and surprised! who would send me a gift to my office out of the blue. There was no occasion what so ever!! Then I found the card...

Birthday card??!!!! SERIOUSLY?! It wasn't even my Birthday! I was so confused! My Birthday was in August not December! So I thought it was a mistake, and it was for someone else :(
I opened the card to check who is the sender.. And to my surprise..

I laughed soo HARD! "Madame Qadeer"!!! (I'll post about this Qadeer guy later :P)!! LOL! And it was from my best friend :)

The driver part 1

Exactly like this time last week. It was an ordinary Friday afternoon. I was checking my favorite blogs, having my coffee and just chilling. Mom was out of town, Dad went to Friday prayer, Rima was in her room, S, my little sister just got up and came to me looking worried ...

S: Euphoria, who's gonna drive me to school and you to work tomorrow?
Euphoria: Alan of course! Why do you ask?
S: But he's sick! The maid has asked him last night to buy her a prepaid phone card, and he refused angrily, and told her that he was sick.
Euphoria: That's strange. Rima went out with him last night and I guess he was fine. Any way, don't worry. I'll check this out.

I went and asked Rima, she said he was fine, he dropped her at some cafe with my cousins, and she gave him money for dinner. He drove them back home around 11:30 PM. He was fine! So I thought that he was just being rude to the maid as usual. I didn't like that about him, always screaming at the maids for the smallest issue. I waited for dad to come back from Juma'a prayer, and when he finally did...

Euphoria: Dad, is Alan ok? Is he sick?
Dad: Well, he's body is kinda swollen-up, and he's got a doctor appointment tomorrow. But he's fine, why?

So, I had to tell him about Alan and the maid. Dad called Alan's room.. No response. Called his cell phone.. No response. Dad wend to the window to check if he was washing the car... He wasn't there. My dad thought maybe Alan was so frustrated for some reason and didn't want to pick-up his phone! (this never happened, Alan would answer my Dad's calls even if he was taking a shower!) Then my dad went downstairs, and for the last time, called Alan's room from the kitchen.. Still, no response.

The next thing I knew, Dad started to knock on Alan's door, calling his name.. No one answered. Banging and banging. For some reason, I got scared that Alan might finally get out and hit my Dad. I don't know why, but that was the first thing that crossed my mind. Then Dad tried to open Alan's door.. It was locked from the inside. Now Rima, S, the maid, and I.. All watching from Rima's window. Dad somehow succeeded in unlocking the door. The maid ran down the stairs, she wanted to check what was happening herself. And suddenly, I hear her screaming my name out loud... Running up the stairs.. "EUPHORIA, EUPHORIAAAA, ALAN IS DEAD!!!.... ALAN IS DEAD!!!"

That was one of the scariest moments in my life. Someone just died in my house! Not just anyone. Alan worked for us for 20 years. He was like a family member to us. I was only 6 years old when he started working for us. This was very sad and shocking.

Dad called the Red Crescent for an ambulance. They came within 20 minutes. But it was already late.. Too late. Alan died 8 hours ago.

Around 9 PM. the maid told Rima that she's scared.. Really scared that Alan might come back. And specially that the other maid left us 2-3 weeks earlier 'cause she was sick, and now she'll have to sleep alone in her room in the 3rd floor. So Dad suggested that she sleeps in Rima's room. She was terrified. She really believed that he'll come back. The next night she slept in S's room. And constantly telling us that she's afraid, and she wants to go to her house. We didn't take her seriously. Com'on!

3 days after this, and while everyone was out for work, and S was at school, mom was already back, and just woke up to find this letter.

To tell you the truth, I found it funny! Really funny! LOL

Me: What?!! I'm sure it's a mistake. Tell the bellboy that he got the wrong room.
Sara: *frozen at the door with a dumb happy look on her face*
Me: *going to the door to tell him myself 'cause Sara was daydreaming. And to my surprise there was a bouquet of flowers on his hand, and a teddy bear with a box of chocolate on his other hand!!*

That was my colleague at work. And I knew that he liked me since the day I started to work at the bank. And just before I travel to London, he said the "L" word, and asked me to marry him. He is so nice, sweet, and handsome. But I just don't "feel it"! I don't wanna marry him. I just want us to be friends and nothing more. It's so nice of him to send me such a lovely gift while he's in Jeddah and I was in London.. But I just can't...

Sara fell in love with him, and told me that he's a classy person and I should consider him as a husband. I feel guilty. I feel like I've been misleading him.. I don't know... I don't know!

I don't know if you're facing the same problem. But my Dad keeps sending me group emails EVERYDAY! dozens! All kinds of emails like: Rumors, news, religion, health, advices, politics, quotes, Youtube clips, articles, poetry, scientific facts,..., You name it!!!
And guess what? You can't just delete them without reading them first, as he checks with me almost every day, and keeps asking me; Euphoria, did you read the so and so e-mail? Wasn't the so and so email so funny? Oh please don't use this product it's dangerous and I've already sent you an email about it!

س1: ما معنى مصطلح “بقايا حُجّاج” ؟
ج: هي عبارة انتقاصية - “عيارة” أو “ذَبَّـة” في اللسان المحلي- تقصد بها الفئة من المواطنين السعوديين ممن لا ترجع أصولهم لقبائل الجزيرة العربية، وبالذات تلك المستوطنة تاريخياً في حدود ما يعرف اليوم بالمملكة العربية السعودية. وينسب معظم بقايا الحجاج أنفسهم لمدن إقليم الحجاز، وتحديداً مكّة المكرمة، والمدينة المنورة، والطائف وجدة وينبع.ـ

س2: كيف ظهرت فئة بقايا الحجاج؟
ج: يمكن القول أن أول من ينتسب لهذه الفئة وفق التعريف الوارد أعلاه هو سيدنا إسماعيل بن سيدنا إبراهيم عليهما السلام -حاشاهما النقص والتعريض-. حيث جاء سيدنا إبراهيم من أصل كلداني. وترك زوجه هاجر وابنهما إسماعيل طبقاً للأمر الرباني عند الوادي غير ذي زرع -مكة- لتجدههما القبيلة المحلية (جُرهم) وتتبنى سيدنا إسماعيل. ومن نسل إسماعيل كانت العرب المستعربة، وكان محمد بن عبد الله صلى الله عليه وسلم.ـ

س3: لا تستهبل.. كيف ظهرت فئة بقايا الحجاج الموجودة اليوم؟
ج: ليس ثمة استهبال. منذ بناء الكعبة على يدي سيدنا إبراهيم وابنه إسماعيل ومكّة هي مهوى أفئدة الناس ومُهاجرهم كما يقول القرآن. وبعد ظهور الإسلام دخلت المدينة المنورة كذلك في الموضوع. وصار المسلمون يهاجرون إليهما منذ 1430 سنة بدون توقف طلباً للجوار الشريف.ـ

س4: متى صار بقايا الحجاج سعوديين؟
ج: تحصّل بقايا الحجاج على الجنسية السعودية في نفس الوقت الذي تجنس به المواطنون من أبناء القبائل. فقبل ظهور السعودية سنة 1932م فإن ولاءات سكان الجزيرة العربية كانت إما للدولة العثمانية، أو للمشيخات والأسر الحاكمة. ومع تأسيس البلاد على يدي الملك عبدالعزيز ؛ تم تقديم مفهوم “الجنسية” لأول مرة عبر توزيع الهويّات الوطنية -كانت تسمى “تابعيات”- على كل من يقيم ضمن حدود الدولة الجديدة بغض النظر عن أصله.ـ

س5: هل يعرف بقايا الحجاج أصولهم على وجه الدقة؟
ج: لا يعرف كثير من بقايا الحجاج أصولهم على وجه الدقة. وذلك بسبب عدم الاهتمام بتوثيق الأصول عبر أجيالهم المتتابعة. وبسبب ظروف الهجرات التاريخية المختلفة وانصهار الأعراق على مر القرون. بعض أسر بقايا الحجاج عندها أشجار أنساب دقيقة لكن هذه ليست الحالة العامة.ـ

س6: هل بقايا الحجاج هم أقوام بلا أصول؟
ج: هذا قول أحمق. فالجهل بالأصل لا يلغيه أساساً. وعلى كل فهناك عوائل هي على ارتباط طيب ومعرفة بجذورها.. بل أن بعض الأسر تتواصل مع أقاربها في بلدانهم الأصلية.ـ

س7: أليس من المعيب ألا يعرف أحد نسبه؟
ج: ربما. لكن هذا عيب مشترك في كل المجتمعات الحضرية التي تجاوزت مرحلة القبيلة. وأنت إذا سألت شخصاً عادياً في شوارع القاهرة أو دمشق عن اسم جده الخامس فإنه غالباً سوف “يتنح” وقد يعتقد أنك تصور معه (الكمرة الخفية). الاهتمام بالنسب هو هاجس قبلي موجود في السعودية مثلما هو موجود عند قبائل المغول وقبائل أميركا الشمالية الأولى كـ (الموهوك) و (الداكوتا). لكنه هاجس يفقد إلحاحه خارج نطاق القبيلة.ـ

س8: أرجو أن تكون إجابتك على قدر السؤال. هل يعتبر بقايا الحجاج أنفسهم عرباً؟
ج: أجل. قال صلى الله عليه وسلم: (إنما العربية اللسان).ـ

س9: هل يمثل بقايا الحجاج اختراقاً للثقافة المحلية السائدة بالمملكة؟
ج: ماذا تقصد بـ “الثقافة المحلية السائدة”؟ أنا ذهبت للجنادرية ورأيت عشرات الأزياء والرقصات وأنماط الثقافة المختلفة كلها قادمة من مناطق المملكة. إذا كنت تقصد ما يسمى بـ (ثقافة الصحوة) فالجواب: نعم.ـ

س10: لماذا تجد أن أبناء البقايا يسارعون للانقياد لموجات التغريب ويقل التزامهم بالعادات والتقاليد؟
ج: الانفتاح على الثقافات الأجنبية هو سمة أكيدة لمدن الحجاز المتعولمة منذ الأزل. مكة المكرمة كانت قلباً ثقافياً حُراً نابضاً قبل 100 سنة وعندك التاريخ لتتأكد. أما العادات والتقاليد فهذه مرتهنة بمناطقها وقبائلها. لماذا تلزم أبناء حواضر ما بتقاليد غيرها أو الريف أو البادية؟

س11: لماذا يُعتبر بقايا الحجاج دخلاء على البلد؟
ج: هذا من الجهل المركّب. فالعقلية المحلية تنظر للحاج اليوم ككائن فقير وغلبان يحلم بكفيل وعقد عمل. والجهّال لا يفرقون بين المتخلفين عن حملات الحج اليوم وبين الحاج مواطن الإمبراطورية الإسلامية أيام الخلافة. علينا أن نتذكر أن بيئة الجزيرة العربية على مر التاريخ وقبل ظهور النفط كانت بيئة طاردة للحضارة والحياة. وعبر 1400 سنة فقد استقر كثير من الحجاج القادمين من بيئات زاخرة بأسباب الحياة الطبيعية والحضارة في المدن المقدسة جالبين معهم ثرواتهم وأسرهم -أو تاركينها وراءهم- بعضهم مهاجراً لله ورسوله، بعض هؤلاء كانوا من طلبة العلم، وربما كان بعضهم دراويش أو فارين من وجه العدالة! لكن على أية حال يصعب أن نقول أن بهرج الدنيا كان مبرر قدوم هؤلاء لغرب الجزيرة العربية التي كانت منطقة هامشية ومنسية حتى على صعيد التاريخ الإسلامي ذاته ومنذ العام 60هـ ! ـ

س12: تقصد أن بقايا الحجاج لم يأت بهم البترول ولا الأسهم ولا نظام الكفيل؟
ج: هذا كلام صحيح.. بالرغم من أن صيغة شبيهة بنظام الكفيل كانت موجودة أيام قريش (نظام الموالي).ـ

س13: لكن هناك كثيرون ممن منحوا الجنسية في العهد السعودي من غير النوعيات التي ذكرتها.ـ
ج: صحيح. هؤلاء “تيكنيكللي” لا يعتبرون (بقايا حجاج) ولا علاقة لهم بفريضة الحج. وإنما هم مواطنون من أصول أخرى جاؤا للسعودية كوافدين بحثاً عن عمل أو وطن بديل ثم تحصّلوا على الجنسية السعودية. وهذا لا ينقص من قدرهم في شيء برأيي ولا أفهم أين العيب في أن تحصل على جنسية أخرى إن كانت ستضمن لك حياة أفضل؟!

س14: هل توجد تقسيمات داخلية ضمن فئة بقايا الحجاج؟
ج: أجل توجد تقسيمات على أسس عرقية واجتماعية. كما يمكن تصنيف بقايا الحجاج وفق تواريخ هجراتهم.

س15: هل يمكنك أن تسلط المزيد من الضوء على هذا الموضوع؟
ج: أجل يمكنني.

س16: تفضل...ـ
ج: إجمالاً يمكننا تقسيم المواطنين السعوديين ذوي الأصول غير العربية إلى مجموعتين: واحدة موجودة قبل العهد السعودي وأخرى -أصغر بكثير- وُجدت بعده. المجموعة الثانية أغلبها من مسلمي جمهوريات آسيا الوسطى الذين منحهم الملك عبد العزيز الجنسية بعدما فروا من أوطانهم هرباً من القمع السوفيتي. هؤلاء هم “البخارية” الذين سكن معظمهم الطائف لاعتدال طقسها.

س17: تقصد أن كل السعوديين من أصل بخاري قد تجنسوا بعد تأسيس السعودية؟
ج: هذا كلام غير صحيح. أنا تكلمت عن فئة محددة. الحضارة الإسلامية مدينة لآسيا الوسطى بثلاثة أرباع علمائها ومحدثّيها، والأكيد أن كثيراً من مسلمي تلك الأقاليم قد جاوروا الحرمين منذ قرون عدة. عموماً تعتبر مكة المكرمة هي الأثرى بالخلطة العرقية. ففيها عوائل من كل بلد مسلم وكل عرق يمكن تخيله: الهنود والجاوة والمصريون والأفارقة والمغاربة والشوام. أما المدينة المنورة ففيها تنويع أقل، وإن كانت نسبة معتبرة من بقايا حجاجها هي من أصول تركية على اعتبار ظروف الخلافة العثمانية.

س18: تريد أن تقول بأن الأتراك كانوا يتركون “البَراد” والخضرة والحسناوات في بلادهم ويأتون ليعيشوا في حِرار المدينة اللاهبة؟ وأن هذه “الحركة” تكررت على مدار مئات السنين؟
ج: تخيّل!

س19: ذكرت بقايا مكة والمدينة والطائف. ماذا عن جدة؟
ج: جدة غير

س20: المزيد من التفاصيل ولا تستظرف إذا سمحت.ـ
ج: بقايا جدة هم من أصول مصرية ومغربية في الغالب. هناك أيضاً أفارقة وحبوش وحضارم.. لاحظ أن الحضارم يعتبرون بقايا مع أنهم ينتمون للقبائل العربية.. أليس هذا مدهشاً؟

س21: مهمتك هي الإجابة على الأسئلة وليس طرحها. قلت أنكم تعرفون الأصول العامة لعوائل البقايا. هل تعطيني أمثلة؟
ج: عائلة (خوجة) و (كشغري) مثلاً هي من أصل تركستاني، عوائل (دهلوي) و (مليباري) من أصل هندي، (خاشقجي) و (إزمرلي) و (طرابزوني) أتراك، (برّادة) مغاربة. (بشناق) من البوسنة، (زينل) و (العوضي) فُرس، (كابلي) و (خوش حال) أفغان، (برناوي) و (هوساوي) نيجيريون، (بنتن) و (فلمبان) جاوة وعائلة (اليماني) هي من أصول يمنية -تخيّل!!-. طبعاً هناك حالات تشابه في الأسماء لعوائل تمُت لأصول أخرى. كما وأن نقاوة هذه الأعراق ليست مضمونة بتاتاً نظراً للتزاوج بين الأسر على مر الأجيال.

س22: هل يعرف صاحب هذه التدوينة أصل عائلته؟
ج: “يُعتقد” على نطاق واسع أن أسرتي هي من أصول يمانية استقرت أولاً في مكة ثم انتقلت للمدينة منتصف القرن الثالث عشر. على كل فجدتي (والدة أبي) قدمت من البوسنة والهرسك إلى المدينة المنورة وعمرها 15 سنة. عائلة أمّي هي من أصول تركية. جدهم كان عسكرياً أتي به الوالي العثماني ليقمع ثورة قامت بالمدينة المنورة قبل 400 سنة و “بلّط” هناك منذ ذلك الحين. كما ترى فخريطتي الجينية “مخبوصة” تماماً.

س23: 400 سنة فقط؟ هذا لا شيء في عمر التاريخ!ـ
ج: أرجو أن تتذكر أن محمد بن عبد الوهاب قد ولد قبل 300 سنة فقط. وأن الدولة السعودية الأولى قد تأسست سنة 1744م.

س24: هل صحيح أن بقايا الحجاج يعتبرون جميع أبناء القبائل “بدواً”؟
ج: هذا صحيح. لا يفرّق أبناء بقايا الحجاج -أو لا يكترثون لمعرف الفرق- بين البدو والحضر من أبناء القبائل، ويعتبرون أن كل “الشروق” سواء!

س25: هل يعتقد البقايا أنهم أفضل من أبناء القبائل؟
ج: هذا اعتقاد وارد وموجود مع الأسف. لكن لا تنس أن هذه العقلية لو وُجدت فإنها ستكون ردة فعل لأخرى مماثلة من الطرف المقابل. النظرة الدونية موجودة ومتبادلة في العلاقات بين كل شرائح مجتمعنا للأسف. شخصياً لا أمانع بأن تفرح بأصلك القبلي. لاحظ أني قلت “تفرح” وليس “تفتخر”؛ لأنك لا يعقل أن تفتخر بشيء لم تكسبه بجهدك.. شيء فرض عليك وخُلقت به. هل رأيت أحداً يفخر بلون شعره البُني؟ أو لأن طوله 182 سم؟! افرح أو اعتز أو افتخر بأصلك إن شئت، لكن لا تقل لي بأنه أفضل من أصلي أنا.. وإلا فإني سأعتبرك كمن يقول بأن الله تعالى ظالم.. لماذا يعطيك أصلاً خيراً من أصلي؟ أحب أن أضيف بأن البقايا “فخورون” فعلاً بالمنظومة الحضارية وبثقافة العولمة والانفتاح على الآخر التي شكلوا نسيجها عبر القرون.

س26: هل يعتبر البقايا أنفسهم “أهل بلد” ؟
ج: بالتأكيد، وذلك بحكم خلقهم للبيئة الحضرية لمدن الحجاز. وهذا باب توتّر كبير بينهم وبين أبناء القبائل الحجازية كعتيبة وحرب وهذيل وغيرها.

س27: بالفعل.. أفهم كيف يكون الأشراف مثلاً أهل بلد أو أبناء القبائل.. لكن لا يمكن اعتبار (وافد) أصلياً.. ولو بعد مئات السنين.
ج: هذا كلام مضحك. لأنه يعني أنه لا يوجد إنسان أصلي وأننا كلنا وافدون. يعني العلم أثبت أن أصول القبائل العربية هي أفريقية؛ فهل يقتضي هذا أن العرب يجب أن يخلوا جزيرتهم لأنهم ليسوا أصليين؟ الشعوب الآرية هاجرت من أراضي إيران وأفغانستان من آلاف السنين. تخيل أن يأتي من يقول أن الألمان ليسوا أوروبيين؟ المسألة ليست بـ “الأقدمية” يا حبيبي.

س28: ماذا تقصد؟
ج: أقصد أن مسألة “أصلي” و “غير أصلي” هذه هي كلام فارغ لأنها لا تؤدي لأي نتيجة وليس من ورائها إلا إثارة الأحقاد. قلت لك منذ قليل أن الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم هو من ولد إسماعيل الذي يرجع لأصول كلدانية. يعني الأشراف والسادة اليوم غير أصليون؟ هل هناك تاريخ صلاحية معين لـ الأصلي؟ طبعاً هذا كلام فارغ. الهجرات سنّة طبيعية في التاريخ البشري.

س29: لماذا “يُلصق” الكثير من بقايا الحجاج أنفسهم بنسب آل البيت؟ كيف تكون غير عربي ثم تقول أنك قرشي هاشمي؟
ج: المدّعون كذباً موجودون بطبيعة الحال، لكن المسألة ليست “سائبة” وعوائل بقايا الحجاج على دراية كافية بتواريخها. لا يسع عائلة ما أن تصحو في الصباح لـ “تكتشف” أنها من النسب الشريف. هناك الكثير من آل البيت في حضرموت.. بالرغم من أن الرسول عليه الصلاة والسلام لم يكن حضرمياً. المسألة بسيطة. لقد انتشر آل البيت في كل أصقاع الأرض بدوافع الدعوة أو التجارة أو الفرار من البطش واختلطوا بأبناء تلك الأصقاع.. هذا شيء ينطبق على كثير من الأسر الحجازية من غير آل البيت كذلك. ومع الزمن عادت بعض هذه الأسر إلى الجزيرة العربية لكنها نسبت إلى الأماكن التي جاءت منها. هكذا ستجد آل بيت من إندونيسيا وإيران والسودان.. بكل بساطة!

س30: هل تعطينا أمثلة على بعض هذه الأسر؟
ج: السادة (آل الرفاعي) من الجزائر. السادة (آل البرزنجي) و (الحبّوبي) عراقيون. (آل الإدريسي) مغاربة، (آل شطا) مصريون. وعندك السادة الحضارم/الملايو: (السقّاف) و (المحضار) و (العطّاس). وغيرهم.

س31: لماذا يحمل الكثير من بقايا الحجاج أسماء عوائل مضحكة؟
ج: هل أنت من أصل عربي قح؟ سافر لهولندا وانطق اسمك الثلاثي هناك واسمع الضحك!

س32: هل يعاني بقايا الحجاج في السعودية من عقدة نقص؟
ج: بالطبع. ففي مجتمع مهووس بأصله كالمجتمع السعودي، وحيث توجد النظرة الدونية حتى بين أبناء القبائل أنفسهم، فإن أبناء البقايا يجدون أنفسهم على هامش النص. حين تتعرض لهذا الضغط وأنت مراهق هش في المدرسة فإنك ستربي أنواع العقد والعقد المضادة.

س33: لماذا تصرّ أنت على استخدام لفظة “بقايا” في إجاباتك؟
ج: لنقل أنه نوع من العلاج بالصدمة. عندي مرادفات شائعة أخرى أقل تهذيباً يمكنني أن أطلعك عليها لو أحببت!

س34: هل لديك أقوال أخرى؟
ج: أعتقد أن النظرية الاجتماعية الإسلامية قد فشلت بالسعودية فشلاً ذريعاً. وعلى كل من لا يعجبه كلامي أن يثبت لي العكس!

On a Lebanese night...

I Love Byblos. It's the best Lebanese restaurant in Jeddah and one of the top restaurants in J town. I go there for lunch almost daily with the girls from the bank. Everything about this restaurant is just amazing. Fairouz songs, the perfect meals ever. Aaah I just LOVE it! And since I'm a regular customer there, they reserve us the best table, and offer us the best service. There is this one waiter in particular (Lebanese) that tries to please me in every way possible, which was great actually. He knows me by name (I usually pay by my Visa card). But on Saturday. While I was checking my Facebook account, and my friends requests.. I saw his name!!!!!! He added me!!! I can't believe it!!!
And he sent me a message to my inbox:

"u r not only Euphoria , u r the cute ladie thats what i saw in u , now i can say hi for u Euphoria, i am sure u know me dont ask me why i invite u to be friends cuz i dono the reason maybe some thing let me thought that face book is better than talking 2 u on some place , so i hope 2 be friends .thx"

Can you believe this guy?!!! He actually searched my name! LOL! Thank God my profile is private! he can't even see my picture. Since Saturday, I stopped going to the restaurant due to the extra work I'm doing now :( Actually I don't know what to do, how to react when I go there the next time?! Should I just ignore him when I see him? and pretend that I never received that request? or should I mention to him this and that it's Inappropriate to add customers and try to befriend them this way?

What would you do?

UPDATE:

Went there again yesterday with la familia and on Wed. with my co-workers. I tried as much as I could not to look at his direction. And while taking the orders, I didn't say a single word. The girls basically did everything. LOL! It was funny, the look in his eyes. One of the girls called me "a heart breaker"!! The guy looked so.. ummm..sad! but I kept smiling to everyone like I ususally do. Totally ignored the fact that he actually tried to contact me via Facebook! as it never had happened and it felt good :)

P.S. I liked the new name "heart breaker" :P
